What is an appropriate tip for Pizza and haircuts?

I never know what to tip the Pizza boy or my hair stylist. Do you base it on the total cost? What is an appropriate tip for Pizza and haircuts?
If the pizza is on time and the delivery person does his/her best then 20 % of cost is very fair.

Hairdressers do a lot more in the way of personal service for you and they generally only work on one client at a time. I do this. I start with a minimum of a five dollar tip for a $20ish wash and haircut and then I add on to that for any other things I have done. So basically I take 20% of bill and then add $5 to that. A $70 bill would then be $19 tip.

Also, I always consider the tip cost before I get my hair done so I have enough money. I never short change anyone who does me a personal service. What is an appropriate tip for Pizza and haircuts?
I tip the pizza deliverer 18%-20%, just like I would at a restuarant. They have to drive to your house (gas isn't cheap) and then you know they deal with all the fools who have their barking dogs and screaming children everywhere. Most pizza deliverers never even see a tip. As for my hairstylist, I usually tip 15%-20% because in some salons the hairdressers make a hefty commission off of each sale, but they also have to rent out their space and buy their own products and tools, so I try to hook them up. Trust me, if you tip people well, you will get better service. It's worth it.
For all of the tips I give, regardless of whether it is a pizza, haircut, etc., I always give 20% if I get great service.

So if you got a pizza for $10, give a $2 tip.
