I agree with the previous answer that there are tons of hairstyles out and it's hard to distinguish which one is the most popular or the newest. However, emo hairstyles with heavy bangs are gaining momentum. And hairstyles with sharp, high fashion layerings (ie, Reese Witherspoon's hair style) are very popular too. Since it's almost summer, people are shortening their hair also.

alot of girls including myself have side bagns and layers. it really depends on the person though
