What are the easiest and best scene haircuts?

I wanna cut my hair somewhat like that, but I want it to not be with SO much hair, and not too short. If you don't think scene is the way to go, then post pictures of other styles. Post Pictures! Thank you(:What are the easiest and best scene haircuts?
Your hair sounds a little like mine, just past the shoulders. I often see Scene girls with very long hair with are often extensions. You could try them if you wanted long Scene hair.

If not try something like this

This is a cute scene haircut and low maintenance.

your hair really isn't the ideal length for the easiest 'scene' styles, but if you do get it cut just right and put a bit of practice into it, it will be just fine.

a heavy side part is a must- try lined up by the arch of an eyebrow, or even lower.

the more layers you have the easier the style will be. some stylists don't really understand what you're telling them to do, so make sure they know you only want the top chunk of your hair (like above your ears) to have the extreme layers. if you don't want to play with extensions, that's especially important!

thick, side-swept bangs [ http://www.littleblackcherry.co.uk/ekmps/shops/yasmilena/resources/image/how%20to%20make%20your%20hair%20scene.jpg ]are also pretty imperative to the easiest of the hair styles, though you could go for choppy straight-across bangs [ http://www.scene-hair.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/blonde-scene-hair-330x440.jpg ] as well depending on what you prefer. if you're not interested in getting bangs (i don't know what your current hair style is) but want the look, you can actually just pin it over and have the equivalent of the same style [ http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/2/l_02bf010f9d52449d83dd7e9d34434ad2.jpg ]

as an overall style, i would suggest:

if you'd be interested in putting in some extensions and making it longer. (as an fyi, you can make clip-in extensions that are made with real hair for about $15, or you could spend somewhere between $60 and $200 to get them ready-made. they're extremely easy to use and don't add more than 30 seconds to your daily routine. youtube ';clip in hair extensions'; and it's all there- ';make clip in hair extensions'; for how to make them, the first two videos that come up are best)

as for styling-

'scene' hair is deceptive in a lot of ways, because if you know what you're doing it doesn't take long at all. my hair takes me fifteen minutes or less, guaranteed.

[ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XagQgPZvHKM%26amp;feature=related ] that video is pretty good if you don't know where to start.

other tips:

less hair washing gives you the ability to keep your hair big (no matter how big you want it- teasing clean hair is a lost cause).

some of the best, basic hair products are the cheapest- aqua net and rave hair sprays do the best at keeping hair high and in place. and for $2!

the second your start with your style, make sure you have moisturizing/damage control shampoo %26amp; conditioner on hand, as well as a deep conditioner. teasing, blow drying, and straightening takes a lot out of hair no matter how good of condition it's in when you start! shampoo also strips your hair of essential oils, so the lack of washing your hair serves a double purpose. make sure you deep condition every 1-2 weeks... and if you don't want to dish the $ to get some, the conditioner that comes in boxes of hair dye works just as well, if not better!
