I have fine, thin hair. I let it grow out long because that actually makes it look like I have more hair and I can do more with it. It really looks horrible when it's short. I was thinking about getting some layers though, you know, to give it more movement. What kind of hairstyles would work? Can you provide a link w/pictures? short layers will keep your hair with many volume...last year i hade cut my hair with many short layers and it came with many volume i swear!!!if you want to confirm ask the hairdresser and she will agree with the answer i gave you!!
